My Kraft Nabisco Debut, Mission Hills CC, Rancho Mirage, CA
This was the first Major for me at the age of 19. I was kind of nervous but I was pretty confident for the course since this is the same golf course for LPGA first stage Q-School. Hope I can have a great performance here. As a rookie and wanting to give out my best, I decided to stay closer to the course for the tournament week. Unfortunately, the hotel I booked was noisy and the soundproof was horrible…..OMG. No wonder I am a rookie. If everything was going along nicely, I will not be the so-called “ROOKIE”, right??
I did not play well this week, I was sad especially this was my first Major as a LPGA member. But it’s even sadder that I didn’t do the back-flip during the national live broadcasting when I made the birdie on 18th hole. Hahaha…I am going to create some publicity stunts and ensure the people will remember who I am. Maybe some magic trick like the ball disappears when I throw it up in the air. Hahah……..Great!!
I would like to thank all my friends who made the trip from Taiwan to watch me playing and cheered for me. It’s touching. I almost cried…but not because of my poor performance……just kidding. Thank you guys!! It’s always good to learn something from my mistakes in a tournament…haha.

Ginn Open, it’s a world classic tournament and also I got a chance to play with the best player in the world…….it’s awesome!! It’s impossible to say that I was not nervous. My heartbeat was beating up to 120 
for the first two holes. Haha. I really felt like I could win this game. I know my mental is not as strong as Lorena’s yet, but I will definitely learn from her and enjoy playing final group with her!! But the most honorable thing is that Lorena even said “I will see you a lot on Sundays”…..Wow..I am so happy for the compliment from the world No.1 player…..I will work hard and catch up with you soon…..wait for me…Lorena!!
Michelob Open at Kingsmill, Williamsburg, VA
This might be the worst week of my LPGA journey so far because I caught a serious cold for the first three day of the tournament. My temperature was up to 104 Fahrenheit. I almost felt like my head was burning. Good thing that my friend took good care of me and I was getting better. I was even thinking about withdraw, but may be my sub-conscion told me that there are just two more rounds, hang on. My temperature was lower eventually….cough…cough….I even drank the “Ginger Tea” that I thought I would never drink…..think of the bad tea…..hmm…..it’s disgusting. But for the tournament, I have to drink it to get better.
Actually, Williamsburg is the town when I first won the USGA’s champion. Everything seems familiar, feels great. I went to the golf course that I won the 2004 USGA Amateur Public Links Championship before I left to catch up the old memory……haha……feels great!

I thought of New York when I first arrived in New Jersery….haha. I went shopping and watched shows the very next day…happy!! This was the first time I watched the Broadway Show, it’s so cool….world class….!! But there was one news that made me real sad which was when I found out from the ESPN News at the Time Square that Annika announced her retirement. Oh My God! It’s shocking news for me. I lost my shopping mood when I learned the news……super sad………!! She is going to retire when I am still a rookie. It leaves me fewer chances to compete with her on the tour, and she is going to have a family and maybe a babe next year.
Hopefully, she can come back and play next year, but it’s kind of un-likely. I have to play well this year, and hope to pair with her for a couple rounds. Otherwise I will regret it for my whole life. She has been my motivation to be on the LPGA tour!! I wish her the best …(I almost cried when I said that)
May 19 – Watch the Ace Pitcher of New York Yankee, Chien-Ming Wang
The Yankees was beaten so bad today by the Mets.…. It made me feel like that I was the one brings the bad luck to Yankees. This was my first time watching the game, and they lost the game so badly….!! I have to apologize to all Taiwanese fans but he said that I am not the one bring the bad luck haha…….I have to say it.
Go…Go……..Go……You are the Ace of the Yankees.
